Digital banking quality workflows

Banking

Faster regression cycles, fewer audit findings.

In banking, a software defect turns into a transaction outage, an audit finding and a reputational loss. Virgosol connects the entire quality chain, from requirements validation through load and resilience testing, into a single process. Every release is measured and every test is recorded, so you can report your release decision on the evidence in front of you.Contact us

Why Virgosol for Banking?

Remove manual regression bottlenecks

As release frequency rises, manual regression cannot keep up. The team narrows coverage and the risk grows. We automate your regression suite on top of the frameworks you already use, so release speed increases without test coverage shrinking.

Be audit-ready at any moment

In most institutions, audit evidence is gathered during the audit period. We document test coverage, execution records and results as the work happens. When the auditor asks, the evidence is already there.

Take the payment and integration layer out of the blind spot

In banking, the most expensive defects are not in the interface but in the integration layer. We test your open banking services, card scheme connections and partner APIs end to end before release.

Prove your defences before the attack

Whether your defences actually work is usually discovered during the first real attack. We measure it through controlled simulations with scope and stop thresholds defined in advance, and deliver the result as a documented report.

Capabilities

Requirements validation

RabbitQA is a multi-agentic AI platform that manages the full quality chain, from requirements validation through test execution. A significant share of banking defects begin not in the code but in the requirement: a business rule defined incompletely, an exception overlooked. RabbitQA analyses requirements before development starts and flags contradictions and gaps, so the team does not spend its time building the wrong thing correctly.

Test orchestration

AutoRunner is a test automation product that manages tests written in different frameworks from a single control layer. In enterprise banks, tests accumulate over years across different teams and tools: Selenium in one place, Playwright in another, Appium on mobile. AutoRunner does not replace those tools; it builds orchestration on top of them. Which test ran where, what passed and what failed all become visible on one screen.

Peak load measurement

Loadmance is a cloud-based performance testing product that measures how applications behave under real traffic. Mobile banking on payday does not see the same load as an ordinary Tuesday. Loadmance generates the peak volume you expect from distributed cloud infrastructure and shows you where the system slows and where it breaks. Results are reported as Apdex scores and SLA impact rather than as raw milliseconds.

Resilience validation

Ddosphere is a cloud-based security resilience product that validates system defences through controlled attack scenarios. It runs simulations at five intensity levels across the TCP, UDP and ICMP protocols, with scope, thresholds and stop criteria agreed before anything begins. The output is a resilience report showing the level at which your defences weaken, in a form you can use in an audit.

Payment terminal testing

Roboclick is a testing robot that performs physical validation of POS and SoftPOS devices. Card and payment terminal testing is still largely done by hand: an operator presses a key, looks at the screen and notes the result. Roboclick does that work with a robotic arm, reads the screen through optical character recognition and records every step. Tests run overnight without an operator, and certification evidence comes out automatically.

Pipeline integration

Every product works natively with Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps. Testing is not a separate stage but a gate inside your pipeline. It does not wait on the release flow; it is part of it.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is test data managed in banking? Is real customer data used?

Synthetic data carrying the statistical properties of production can be generated without moving real customer records into the test environment. Test realism is preserved while personal data stays out. The scope of the approach and the data classification are defined in the project according to your own policy.

How does this support the resilience testing obligation under DORA?

Ddosphere runs controlled simulations with scope and intensity levels defined in advance and produces the results as a documented report. That output feeds the documentation requirement for digital operational resilience testing. The scope and format your auditor expects are clarified together in the project.

How do you position yourselves in large transformations such as a core banking migration?

In migration projects, the risk is the behavioural difference between the old and new systems. Regression suites are run in parallel across both environments, differences are analysed, and critical transaction flows are validated before cutover. In an aviation platform migration, this approach delivered zero downtime.

What happens to our existing test team and tools?

Virgosol does not impose a tool change. AutoRunner works as an orchestration layer on top of your existing frameworks, and tests already written keep running as they are. The team shifts from writing scenarios to managing quality: a change of focus, not a reduction in headcount.

Why is test automation different in banking?

In banking, testing has to prove not only functional correctness but transaction integrity, audit trail and regulatory compliance. An error margin that is acceptable on an e-commerce site is not acceptable in a payment system. For that reason the test process is designed to produce evidence.
